It is recommended that you NOT use your credit cards for 90 days prior to filing. If you did, it is possible that those charges would NOT be discharged - but ONLY those charges. Also be prepared to prove exactly what you used the charge card for and why. If it was for groceries, medicines, etc., then its unlikely you'll be stuck. If you went on a shopping spree.. you could have a problem.
