First, a cashier's check as stated by Marc would have THE check and get you a copy of front and back (for a nominal fee of course).Also get the check you sent the second time or a copy of front and back. I would send them a letter of explanation and that they really owe YOU money since you paid twice and send it certified. If hey do not respond then I would contact the BBB and your local District Atty.
