Is it normal to be served a summons AT WORK?

Just curious because my husband says a man has been looking for him at work. I find this strange since I am home pretty much all the time and nobody has come here. We're not hiding. We would love to see the summons. =) But I think thats weird they would go to your work. Anybody had this experience???
