I live in Michigan! I've been trying to find what they could take. I haven't made a payment to Cap One in almost 2 years and the debt is for $1100.00 or so. As for my bank account, I never keep very much money in it anyway and I have been reading and researching and taking the advice of keeping very little in my account. Because I live in a mobile home in a park, I didn't think that I could qualify for the homestead?
This is what I plan to do when I go for the hearing: Ask to make payments of what I can afford to Cap one. When I called, Stillman Law Office (who is representing them) said that they would not take anything less than $130 a month. Well that's impossible at this point.

Has anyone ever heard of a judge ruling for the debt to be paid in installments, reasonable installments?

Thanks!
