What Should I Do?

Hello. I have two credit cards that have both been charged off, one with debt of $9200 & the other $13000. I have no assets, only a vechicle that is still financed, still oweing around $20,000. I do not work. I am a stay at home mom. I live in Texas & I am married. My question is should I file BK? Or try waiting out the SOL. Like I said I have no assets now but what about in a few years? Also, how will a law suit affect my husband (wages, assets, etc.)? Any advise will be greatly appreciated. I'm just trying to figure out the best & less stressful way to go.
