PACER Question?

If a creditor is going to serve you with papers, should this show on PACER? Hubby says a man has been looking for him at work ( a man with some sort of badge) but we do not see anything filed on Pacer. Just wondering if it should show up. Would a creditor go through the trouble of having you served with a bogus summons? =( Thanks for the help in advance!
