JK, I am just like you. Caller id is a wonderful thing. I have NEVER talked to a CA EVER(never talked to OC's either). My kids were trained never to answer any out of area, unknown or 800#s, etc. Worked quite well for me. I have call intercept also & telezapper.I got letters from ca's after charge off, but I would C&D them, and that would be the end of it. I haven't gotten letters since Aug. I am being sued right now by that sleazy Cohen & Slamowitz, but I finally decied to file BK to put an end to their harassment. Monday morning my lawyer will file electronically, and by Monday afternoon, I will have the case#. To be very honest, I should have done this last year. I can't wait for some peace in my life and to be able to answer the phone again without checking caller id. I won't even care if it's a telemarketer. I would welcome it.
