Yes, you're allowed, its strictly voluntary, but it literally buys you NOTHING and it is NOT necessary. Your discharge relieved you of ALL liability for those debts - that's the purpose and meaning of the fresh start.

Yes, FUSA/B1 are ruthless and will refuse to report bankruptcies - in violation of the law. There are several Federal lawsuits against them right now for this exact thing. You likely won't succeed and paying the discharged debt is a worthless waste of your money.

You don't have to pay ANY of them - use the money for the things you NEED, not for paying discharged debts. That tactic will not help your scores I'm afraid.
