First of all, if the judgment is in VA and you are in Alabama, they can NOT garnish anything unless they MOVE the judgment to Alabama ! They can do NOTHING to enforce the judgment w/o domesticating the judgment to ALL.

They certainly can NOT go after your DH's wages, its not his debt.
