Does anyone know anything about this law firm? They are in Miami, FL (I'm in Daytona Beach), and this is regarding a 3 year old FCNB (Spiegel) debt of almost $3500.00. They are not threatening legal action themselves, just that if I do not pay the full amount or make reasonable payments to Midland Credit Management (purchaser of the original debt), that they "may recommend legal action". They have called 2 times and written 2 letters - I have not responded to anything. Just curious if this law firm is something to worry about or are they just doing the "blowing smoke" thing. Thanks!
