I would suggest NOT replying in any way until you are safely past SOL.(5 year written contract i Fl.) The FDCPA and the FCRA does not protect you on a business account. An S Corp. gives you SOME personal protection, but not as much as a C does, and considering the size of the debt ($35,000 ??)
you do not want to give the impression you are solvent enough to care about your credit rating. It is true they would have to stretch to sue you, but if you signed the checks for the line of credit, and you owned the business, it would be the same as a signed contract, ss # or not.
