Perhaps your telephone co. can provide you with proof, or you can call the # and get proof from you LD carrier of who it is. Exactly WHAT violation are you referring to? If you sent them a cease and desist and have proof of their receipt of the letter, and you can provide some kind of evidence (other than the Austiin Tx. area code) that they have called, you can add your complaint to the BIG pile at the Tx AG's office. If you have additional written violations of FDCPA and FCRA and your State's laws, and written proof of your attempts to rectify the situation, you can also add to the pile of complaints against them with the ACA.
