I have been contacted by Charles E Soffar for collection from Jefferson Capital Systems. I have the debt and am willing to pay, but they want the money right now or they are moving forward with legal (sue) action against me "garnish wages,....". I was un-employed for awhile and just started a job this week, and avoiding chapter XX. Any thoughts on how to respond??? or should I get a laywer??? payment plans??? Any help would be great.
