Yes, do contact an attorney. It appears that they somehow got a default judgment against your wife. And also check with the clerks of the court to see if there is a exemption claim form that you can file to remove the freeze. If none of the money is hers, or if the money she has deposited is exempt from collection, perhaps you'll at least have access to the funds in your account until you can get legal assistance.
