I am familiar with that website. It is true that if you have a joint account with your spouse in a non community property, OR a community property State, you are able to have your spouse file an affidavit with the Court to release HIS portion of the funds after he proves the source. However, it does NOT prevent the freezing or garnishment of the account.The difference is,that in a community property State a joint account can be located easily, and in a non community property State if you are secondary on the account it is more difficult.
