what lady said!!! plus,,,once discharged, you arent accountable any more, ever. thats what a BK means. paying off this will not help your credit at all and didnt before, im sorry to say. make the CRAs change the status properly to BK. i am doin that now with a couple of accounts. the CRAs come back with..verified. then you call the OC and remind them its illegal and give them your case number. then you follow back up with the CRAs to make sure its changed. takes prolly 3 or 4 months total , if they do it, if not you remind them its illegal to report inaccurate information on your reports. dont pay NOTHING!!!!!! the OCs will think you have it lost it. lol.

the ONLY thing to help your credit is to have some good accounts..paid properly,, and time. once your a charge off, your screwed on fixin that account until its too old to be verified. nothing we do on COs will help our scores. dispute any incorrect items on your CRs. the paid ones are simply gonna stick longer, hon. dont mess with the BK ones except to make sure they are reported correctly....dont pay...and dont call the OCs. there is no point. these debts are GONE.
