hi dad!! i am so sorry for your disability and situation. please dont stress. they cant arrest you, what they can do and will is call and write and verbally abuse you. thats all they can do. maybe put anything worth something..boats..land into someone elses name..( a hard step--i know) collectors are scum. should it come to court, let your daughter come ask here and check into a lawyer there in legal aid. always answer a suit, even with a dr letter than you can not show in court. im sure some lawyers will help you at low or no cost with your health situation. what you should do now..is enjoy life. i know its hard to not pay your bills but sometimes life throws us these curves. they have gotten more interest from you than you ever charged to begin with.

in life, sometimes we have to have priorities. food, medicine, a roof. its ok to let some bills go when we must. they cant touch your money. leave it direct depost..proof where it comes from. should they try, it would make a great story in the news. and without a judgement and court hearings, they cant anyways. right now, you enjoy life and concentrate on whats important. your family, your wonderful daughter who is writing us and cares for you so much, and your health. it will be ok...and its not worth hurting your health over something like this. its not who you are...it doesnt make you a bad person at all. it means life has come at you, like it does a lot of us, with some unfair things. we do our best with what we have and let go the other. hugs*** ....im sorry for your circumstances. things can be tough sometimes, cant they? but, it will all be ok. you have your life, and thats most important. :) the companies dont care a flip about us, only their money. they made plenty off you, let them go.
