I have not commented here, or on CB on the subject, however, if you are asking for "perspective", here is mine.

Forget about "morality" or "ethics" or anything else like that when you are dealing with a purely business problem like credit. It is NOT, in my opinion pertinent to the issue.

If you concentrate on finding solutions, instead of dwelling on what caused the problems- ON BOTH SIDES of the issue, you will be more successful, as your judgment will not be clouded by guilt, or anger.

In my opinion, the BEST solutions to credit problems are found by exercising your PATIENCE and self control, instead of reacting quickly to every "non pp" or re-aged CA account that pops up.

I have NO idea if "bumpage" works or not, credit scoring to me is a side issue to credit repair, and getting a few extra "points" because of some trick manipulation of a system is like putting a piece of scotch tape and some toothpaste over a hole in the wall instead of spackle, joint tape and new paint. It may look good, until you look closely or try to hang a picture.
