What is an OC? I am waiting until Monday and will talk with this company. By the way they do NOT pay off my debts. I am saving money (which there is little of) and if and when a company wants to settle I then pay. Yes, I did do the wrong thing. The money I paid them could have gone toward the debts. They have Power of Attorney -- what ever that means. I was instructed NOT to talk to my creditors and to fax all letters to them that I received. We have been served with papers that we are being sued ... and that scared the heck out of me. I will get a lawyer and will decide on Monday after talking to this company. I re-read their little booklet and they say -- a lawsuit may be to my advantage -- how could that be? I'll know more soon I hope. I appreaciate all of the advice here.
