In general, on any of these class action settlements, unless you have a BIG claim for damages, you would be wise to accept the settlement. This allows you to obtain FUTURE damages for any NEW or continuing violations, and will help you if you are trying to clear up any CA reporting a HH account, as you can cc a copy to the legal dept. of the settlement trust when you dispute it to the CA and the CRA.
