I can attest to that just from my experience this past week.

Admit NOTHING but the obvious (your name, address and residency) and DEMAND STRICT PROOF! They will go right to the wire and FOLD.

Follow Why Chat's instructions on answering a lawsuit past the SOL. If it's not beyond the SOL, they may still fold because they seldom have proof.

I researched ALL of the cases over the past few years that were filed by the CA who sued me. Of all of the cases, 99% of the cases were won through defaults, admissions and through those who were so afraid that they gave them what they asked for before the trial. Anyone who stood up to them got their case dismissed.
