It was truly sad to see so many defendants walk out of the room with the plaintiff attorney before court was in session, only to see the attorney walk back into the room alone with a check or cash in hand.

Then there were the ones who stood up in front of the judge and admitted that they owed the debt, never raising their affirmative defenses even when the debt was beyond the SOL. Of course, they lost...and I had to bite my tongue.

FEAR is their tool. Take it from them, keep your wits about you, and you will prevail.
