My question is regarding a charge off lawsuit that occured with no notification to me, and was only discovered after wage garnishment.

I entered into a contract with a financial group June 25th 1991 in Washington state while in the military, my last payment was Nov 5th 1991 after moving to California. The account was charged off 5-28-1992. The matter clear off my credit 4-1999.

I recieved several lawsuit threats via telephone 5-28-2000. I obtained legal advise, and was advised to give this company my address and his address asking for a copy of the complaint. I again followed up with my information 2 months later, with no response or information forwarded to me from the "Plaintiff".

The judgement was passed Februray 5th 2001 and my wages were garnished this past week. Follow up on this with the court shows that a individual from Deleware, Ohio signed for a certified letter with a similar name.
and that the case was filed Feb 28 2000.

I have read through your web information and feel my situation can be protected and reversed. Looking for your professional opinion
