Unauthorized viewing of credit history?

I just got a copy of my credit report and noticed that a credit union viewed my credit history 5 months ago. I am very suspicious since my ex-wife (divorced 4 years now) works at this credit union. How can I find out why my credit history was accessed? Can I take any legal action?
