http://www.doney.net/timeline.htm You are in Texas, so your homestead and your wages are protected. That could make you judgement proof. In Texas, it is possible that if a creditor can convince a judge that you will take the money out of the bank to avoid paying your bills, they can freeze your account before they get a judgement. That is your biggest concern. Arbitration means doodly, they still have to sue and get a judgement. I see that arbitrtion crap as just a way to have the consumer think they have to pay and have no choice. NOT!! Sounds like you are good canidates for bankrupcy, I would suggest that you go for a Chapter 7. Bankrupcy is a fresh start. I am sure CAT will be along shortly. She is in Texas and did a Bk, and SHE WILL TELL YOU, don't fall into the trap of accepting the sub prime offers you will get in the mail. Bankrupcy is a fresh start.PPOTECT YOUR BANKING INFO NOW. If you have ever paid these credit cards with your current bank account, they have your info. CLOSE THE ACCOUNTS, OR LEAVE SMALL BALANCE, GO AND GET A NEW BANK ACCOUNT IN ANOTHER BANK. There was a post about banks checking credit when they open accounts, so take that into consideration. I did not have a problem with bad credit and bk, and my daughter did not have a problem either. I think they are verifying that you are you. GOOD LUCK.
