if you want to pay, call cingular and ask. smart to avoid any big mess over 200$ when you can pay. they will tell you if its sold, assigned, and how to pay it. some OCs will take it, some wont. make sure you get a paid in full letter stating this. if they have sold it, your in a diff ball park on that. plus whatever interest they tack on..good luck. let us know. :)make sure they havent filed anything by checking at your courthouse. you could get a judgement and not know it..altho i doubt they have, best be safe. if the OC asks, tell them you do not want to pay any scum collectors. and CONGRATS on the new little texan!!!
