It is recommended that you NOT use any credit cards during the 90 days prior to filing for bankruptcy. However, if there's an emergency, like car repairs, and that is the only way you can get your car fixed, then its very unlikely that a Trustee would question the charge - just make sure you keep any and all receipts to show that exactly what the charge was for.
