first i would like to thank everyone for responding
this shoul contain all of the information that i need to get assistance.
i am due in court tommorrow to file my written appearance being sued by mcm for 1000k. i live in illinois account opened 10/99 looking at my cr it doesn't say charged off as a bad debt eventhough i haven't made payments since early 2000 if then. i just want to know if i have a chance on fighting this or should i let them enter the judgement and try to pay it. if the sol had run out i have no idea what my defense is. i have visited why chat web site and i am still very confused. sorry to keep writing i just need some helpful information as to what i should be doing.
got the summons late because it was served at my parents home were i no longe live.
