Hello
I trying to stop a Collections Law Firm from takeing all my money out of my checking and savings accounts. They have already removed the money from my accounts but i am told that i have a couple of days to try and get it back. I am told to fill out forms EJ-160 (claim of exemption, based on EJ-155) and EJ-165 (Financial Statement). There are a couple of questions about specify the code and section that allowes me to claim certain items exempt from this Levy. Does anyone have experience or just suggestions on properly filling out this form? I am required to also give facts which support my claim that the items should be considered exempt from the Levy. Please help, i have to submit the form to the Sherif's office tomarrow. THANKS for anything. Keeping food in my kids stomach may depend on me doing this right the first time.
