What happens happens. Just because they say they are going to send it back to the OC means squat. Just wait it out and see what happens.
Some other CA will probably end up with it.
and then you can start all over.
Remember if you should ever have legal action filed against you by a CA, they seldom have the records to back up their claims. Make them prove it and they will probably fold and go away.
When they call you, a day or so, before the court date with an offer to settle, tell them no, they already know their toasted.
