Bk question for Lady-WhyChat

Hi Lady, I post on a few different forums. So, over on another forum, there is a lady who has credit card debt but says that she can't file bk because she will loose her IRA, which generate income that they need to pay mortgage. Says she is going to have to sell the house. She is very upset about it all. What do you know about IRAs and bk. I will copy and past your answer if you can give her some advice. Thanks
