If a judgement is attained against you --- how many points does each judgement account for on your credit score? In terms of a credit score -- it appears better to file BK than pay off charge-offs? A BK is cheaper -
than most people's debts (depending). The credit score after a BK could be good enough to get home loans, etc.. within 1 to 2 years. Waiting and hoping not to have a judgement filed is nerve-racking! Any comments or opinions????
