Thanks to everyone who responded. I do have another question. Are there laws regarding where the collection agency has to sue you on a charged off credit card? We have always lived in TN and yet they claimed to my inlaws that they will issue a subpoena in their state (400 miles away). I just want to be ahead of the game with these people. Have never received a phone call or letter from them and have been at this address many years. Thanks again.
