Money is money. If it has your name on it, they will try to get it whether they are entitled to it or not, and whether your state allows you to exempt the funds from garnishment. You must be vigilant and protect your assets by any legal means.

So technically, moving assets to an account that has someone else as primary, but you are a secondary account owner, is not fraudulent transfer. You are simply making the account a bit more difficult to find in an asset search...but not "hiding" it per se. *IF* and *WHEN* you receive a citation to discover assets FROM THE COURT (not the jacka$$ CA alone), THEN you must reveal the location of your assets.
