sweety, i do understand that scared feeling. for one, they cant take ANY possessions unless its like a car, boat, land that paid for and not exempt..(in tx, one car per driver is exempt etc). your household things are safe. dont volunteer anything they cant prove..if they ask for a asset thingy. tips, i doubt can be proven. you earn it..its a tough job waitressing. my daughter has 2 judgements against her in texas , and so far, not one peep on enforcing it. course, like you, they have very little anyways. like me, also. :)

you didnt write a long post! lol...others here can tell you the state laws for your state..which is where??? each has diff exemptions anyways. also they will want to know the age of this debt. at least if they win, you can make it as hard as possible for them. you may get lucky and they fold completely, you never know. they count on us not showing up at all. Boadicea here knows lots about how her suit went and what she asked and all...
