Taping is great, but courts and juries understand (or can be made to) that normal people don't tape phone calls most of the time. Your sworn testimony as to what they said can come in under several exceptions to the hearsay rule. The details are a bit much for now since I gotta get to the law library today. Also, of course, any lawbreaking letters should be enough by themselves to establish a violation, and once they bust the law in one place, they're guilty of all. Testimony of their illegal phone tactics then will only add to your damages.
