I have posted previously about my court case involving Chase Manhattan Bank, USA. Chase filed suit against me in Alameda County Superior Court case BG03125583. On May 4th, I discovered that a "Writ of Execution (Money Judgment)" was in the works. I tried to find out from the Wells Fargo if my account was frozen. Today, I received original copies of the "Writ of Execution." The Writ was sent to Wells Fargo Bank. But they haven't frozen the account yet.

I did go to the bank and took out money from the ATM.

My income is exempt, since it is disability income. But I guess I have to take next Monday off to deal with the bank, the Court, and the Alameda Sheriff, the levying officer.

I'll have to bring proof that my income is exempt.

Anyway, this is downer. I'm drowning my sorrows in drink.

Has anyone in the group had a similar experience?

Most of my outstanding checks are for prescription medication.
