It's not a gamble. Predatory lenders lend (or invest if you will) to people in bad situations and then get their money back triple, with overcharges, late fees, usurous interest rates, take charge offs to lower their taxes, sell and resell the debt to others who do the same thing -- it's a sure thing!! Better than federal bonds.
