what kind of insurance is this? ours has a clause and some others do also, they must accept what is paid and can not go after the difference. a friend of mine found her hospital sent in the claim wrong with the wrong codes, and wouldnt correct it---can you say dumb? so they were only paid a fraction of what they could have gotten. they went after her and her insurance sent her a letter stating they could not ask for the difference. insurance is so convoluted but this might be a option for you as a defense if your company does this also with providers. . :) good luck:)
