They are allowed to ignore a dispute they think is frivolous.

However, if a dispute is valid, it is not frivolous. So write up your dispute, combined with proof showing that you are correct, and they aren't going to ignore it. If they do, good...thats a thousand bucks for you, just sue them in Court.

Now, if you are asking, why can't I make any more invalid, frivolous disputes (I hope not)...then the answer is, you may have just used up all your grace with them...just wait a while,a nd send in a dispute one at a time...make sure they are valid.

BTW, what does lexington law firm have to do with this? Did you run into an issue using their service?
