Did you read the post I referred to? That post is from Why Chat, so you can count on it being correct info. They got the judgement and did not follow through with the 2nd step. Basically means no judgement against you since you mention a time period of 4 years. Judgement proof means that at the time of the judgement you had no seizable assets. Could be the reason they did not follow through. Lots of psychology in debt collection, a lot of people are scared into paying if they are sued, and even more so when they think they have a judgement against them. The CAs rely on default judgement, hopeing the debor will come up with the money. Their mentality is that you CAN come up with the money. They just don't seem to understand that debtors don't pay because they CAN'T. Just my 2 cents. www.naca.net. You might want to contact an attorney, just for consultation.
