Credit score after charge-offs, then judgements?

Also - does anyone know how a judgement affects your score? Let's say you wait 2 or 3 years for your credit to get better after charge-offs... then a CA comes around and hits you with a judgement or 2. Then what happens to your credit? It's a double whammy, isn't it? It goes down with the charge-offs, then it goes down again years later with judgements...?
