They are a CA, trying to collect on a debt which is most likely passed SOL. Garbage debt buyers buy these debts for pennies on the dollar, and try to intimidate consumers paying on debts that are no longer legally collectible. They did a hard inquiry on your CR, they have your name and social, but they are just trying to collect an old debt.
