CA wont settle

I have an charge-off debt of $2800 and now the debt is at a balance of $4100 with the interest that has accumulated. I called the CA to negotiate a settlement of $2500. The CA told me that she could accept nothing less than $3000. I told her I do not have that much and she said if she gave me a settlement for $2500 she would "get fired". I asked to speak with her manager and she claims she is the manager. I need this debt paid immediatly due to a mortage that I am trying to get. I only have $2500 what should I do?
