Not sure of your entire situation judgements etc, but you need to gain the knowledge to deal with these scumbags. What are exemption in NY, Various options Bk chap 13 or chap 7., how much equity are you allowed to have, etc. Read up, Why chat has a lot of info on his web site. Knowledge is power, once you have it, use to screw the eyeballs out of ass***** messing with you. In the meantime, until you find out what you need, don't answer their calls unless you want to turn the tables and screw with them. Treat them worse than you would treat some telemarketer caling you at 5:00 AM in the morning trying to sell you gutters for you home.
