You said they are buying your bad debts. How old are these bad debts. When was the last time you paid the original creditor before the account became deliquent. Are they within SOL? If they do sue you, you can make them prove all charges in court. Make them prove they bought the debt, that all charges are correct, have not violated usury law, all interest and penalities afre correct and allowed in your state.
Ya Know what........it's the garbage old debt buyers that talk that way. If these accounts are SOL, they can't sue you, they can't get a judgement. If they sue, SOL is your affirmative defense.
