Platinum sued me for a debt I had no knowledge of. I went to the pre-trial hearing and told the judge that I had no knowledge of the debt and asked for proof that it was mine. (I suspect it belonged to someone with my same name who had a very similar address to mine in NYC- some of his accounts actually appeared on my credit report years ago) Platinum filed for a summary judgment and I went to that hearing also. It was denied and Platinum finally dismissed the case. By the way, Platinum Financial Services is not licensed in Maryland and was also not licensed here in Florida. -They're bottom feeder scum.
