make sure you have the paperwork when you settle...ie: paid in full, so they wont resell the diff to more CAs. unfortunately, paying a CO wont help your credit score. time will and if you can get other small lines of credit paid on time. make sure you dispute any hard inquiries and get them off, also. 700 with 3 COs? i dont think so, but perhaps others wil chime in. you might get a 600 soon. a lot is time. there are things one can do which i dont agree with, such as dispute, etc, and hope they cant be verified. i havent had any luck with new accounts tho, they can verify then. reported as paid CO isnt gonna help at all, im sorry. the only thing that will help is to get other accounts and keep them paid on time 100%. good luck!!! make sure any accounts are yours and reported correctly, btw.
