Car Loan Origination: Illinois
Now residing: Louisiana
Last Payment on Loan: Feb or Mar 1994
Car was repoed and re-sold
Haven't heard anything for the last 9 years until now. Collection agency keeps calling. I sent a C&D letter 13 days ago - Certified mail w/return receipt - and now my luck - has not yet been delivered and the post office doesn't know what happened to it. The messages on my phone say that I need to call regarding an "affidavit of complaint" and that if I do not call, they will contact my supervisor regarding wage garnishment. I say BS. Should I send another letter? What is my next step? I think I need to act quickly. Thanks!
