legally, they must serve you. a way to get it thrown out is if they do the sewer service. i would watch anyone offering to help you. i just dont trust anyone anymore...usually they want money. a mediation service means they are in cahoots with the CA to "mediate" a settlement..usually your rights along with it. better to get a real lawyer if you can afford it. check to see if there is something filed..using that number given. if not, its illegal to threaten a suit unless they have intent. even a file deleted off a CR, doesnt mean anything. doesnt mean you cant be sued. check with your local court. CRs are only as good as whats reported to them. sometimes goin after COs in SOL will really force a suit. also they might just be blowing smoke. without checking, no way to know. dont let it go without looking into it tho. possible they did sewer service and do have a judgement. shrug* i heard some who have judgements without proper service. 3 in one CRs arent real good, either. let us know what you find out. good luck!
